About

My Empty Bucket is a record of a life being filled — one frame at a time, one word at a time. I'm Adam Morris, a photographer and writer based wherever I happen to have left my camera bag.

The name comes from a simple idea: we arrive in this world with an empty bucket, and we spend our lives deciding what to put in it. I try to fill mine with curious people, beautiful places, and the occasional good idea.

The photography spans portraits, travel, and the quiet moments in between. The writing touches on creativity, mindfulness, and the practice of paying attention. They're the same pursuit, really — both are about seeing clearly.
